Indispensible Man |
There’s surely no one who will doubt me Or think they could do without me. I planned no large campaign on the air; But this guy Dewey "gets in my hair"! I wouldn’t be so reprehensible, As to claim that I’m indispensible. My opponents claim that they read that, And are saying that I said that. I prefer being right than being president But I sure hope to the White House I am sent. Who else could do all I have done And put the screws on the "Rising Sun".
