Chipped Off the Old Block
To have a son "chipped off the old block"
Is quite a thrill that no one could knock,
A thing of which I'm proud
And I say it quite loud-
May you seek hard to preserve stock!
It is strange when your children are grown.
They observe their trials as now their own:
     Confession brings joy to both
This I swear without an oath
It is sweeter than an ice-cream cone!
