RED HAT LADY
The lady dressed in purple walked into the crowded room.
Upon her head a red hat with a fancy feather plume.
Bracelets jangled on her wrists with tiny hats and beads.
They matched her red hat earrings, a necklace now she needs.
Her shoes are brightest scarlet, purple hats upon the toes.
Red sequins all a glitter everywhere she goes.
She looked about the room, smiled at their startled gaze.
She was happy dressed in purple it was the latest craze.
Graying hair and fifty plus, perhaps a few pounds fatter.
A group just like her entered. Yes, she's a red hatter.
