Trusting Faith
When a debt faced me, I could not pay,
Fear first overwhelmed me, for a day.
Then in faith I sought God; to Him prayed,
"This problem you can solve", He delayed.
He said, "Don’t worry, despite delay".
Dire threats to peace of mind were raised,
Because I trusted, I was not fazed.
In His hands I’d placed it,
Thus in faith, I faced it,
I quailed not, He failed not; God be praised.
A sweepstakes win, I thought, would do it.
Tell God this? Should I do this, I’d rue it.
So I said, "You know best,
You take charge, my request."
Peace ensued because He saw me through it!
I am glad to make this disclosure,
Nothing now disturbs my composure.
In all things I now find
He gives me the peace of mind.
I’m sure God approves this exposure.
